Sundaram chants together with a seminargroup the kirtan „He Ma Durga“ and after this the kirtan „Devi, Devi, Devi“. He Ma Durga means simple: „Oh Mother Durga“. Durga can literally translate as „impregnable“. Durga is also worshiped as the goddess of the origin of the universe, the embodiment of all substance and the destroyer of demons (our lower virtues).

This is a call: „May God come, we may know God.“ And God is invoked as Govinda, as the Good Shepherd, as Gopala, who takes care of all creatures. He is Vasudeva, light of all creatures. He is Nityananda, eternal bliss of all beings. He is Shri Radha, so he is the one who is always together with Radha. Radha means love and joy. „Tumi Bhaja Re Mana“ is to be understood as an invitation to all, to sing together. Or you can understand this kirtan also as an invitation to your own mind. He says, „Tumi Bhaja Re Mana“, this means: Tumi – „you“. Bhaja – „give down,“ „adore.“ Re – „Oh“. Mana – „mind“. That is to say: „Oh mind, Oh thought, give toward you, give you out Rama worship, Rama, Rama feel and repeat the name of Rama.“ Japa means to repeat the name of Rama. So does this kirtan „Oh my mind, Oh my thinking, Oh my heart, turn away but please very Rama. Oh please, repeat the name of God. Oh thinking, please feel divine presence. Om Shri Ram Jaya Ram. Get this great mantra, Shri Ram, Jaya Ram.“
