Uma and a seminar group chant the kirtan or mantra Om Namah Shivaya during a saturday evening satsang in a very loving way. Om Namah Shivaya is a salutation and the meaning of Shiva is „auspicious“, „lover“ and „good“. He symbolizes the power of transformation, the personification of the power of universal destruction. The one who terminated existence and let new ones appear. Sometimes he dances the dance of creation, as Nataraja. The feminine aspect of Shiva is Durga, the universal mother. In this recording you can listen how The Love Keys sing the Om Tryambakam during a Saturday evening Satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany. The Om Tryambakam is a healing mantra, which is also called Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. The healing power of the mantra can be sung as a support for their own or for the healing of others. It is also a protection mantra for travelers, a blessing mantra by birthdays and a mantra for deads. In the Yoga Vidya seminar houses and centers it is recited in every morning and evening satsang. During a Saturday evening Satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany, Anne chanted Ave Maria. A spiritual song to the worship of the Holy Mother. Immerse yourself in the sensible energy of the Divine Mother’s love. The original was composed by Franz Schubert, Opus 52 number 6. At Yoga Vidya it is common to sing mantras twice a day in the Satsang, in the morning and in the evening. Before mantra singing the satsang starts with a guided meditation. Equally there are regulary Yoga classes with a deep relaxation at the beginning and the end.
